Iranian authorities have released a Frenchwoman accused of spying
Teacher of French University Clotilde Reiss, accused of following last year's presidential elections, Iranian espionage, left Tehran and sent home.
It is reported by the British Radio and Television BBC referring to the press service of the President of France.
Earlier, lawyer K. Reiss Mohammad Ali Mahdavi said that it is justified on the main charge and will be able to leave the country.
Recall that in 2009 in Iran, under arrest for charges of espionage were two French women - teacher Clotilde Reiss and embassy staff member Nazak Afshar, and by a member of the British Embassy Hussein Rassam.
All three were released on bail, but charges of involvement in organizing riots and espionage while with them had been withdrawn.
Earlier, on 11 August, the Iranian authorities released from custody an employee of the French Embassy in Tehran Nazak Afshar, which was previously accused of spying. The Source: Interfax, BBC
