Two people were killed and 15 injured in stampede at New Delhi stationStampede occurred on Sunday,


Stampede occurred on Sunday, May 16 at New Delhi railway station, killing two people, 15 people injured.
As the agency Press Trust of India, the crush occurred due to the change of platform, which was supposed to go train for a few minutes before departure.
A crowd of passengers in a hurry rushed to the new platform, where there was a stampede. The scale of the incident showed hundreds of slippers and handbags, drift of passengers.
This is not the first time such a crush at the railway stations in India. In autumn 2007, a similar incident was at the station Mogulsaray in Uttar Pradesh in the north, when the station arrived at the same time two trains.
Passengers who arrived went on a pedestrian crossing to the exit, but faced with the other passengers who were hurrying to the train. In the ensuing stampede killed 13 pilgrims who were going to Varanasi to perform ablution.The Source: RIA Novosti
