In Afghanistan, about 40 children poisoned with gas.
The incident occurred in a school for girls in the province of Ghazni in the east. During the lesson, schoolgirls one after another began to lose consciousness. Doctors diagnosed the intoxicating gas.
Currently, the state most affected is not serious.
Local officials are accused of attacking the Taliban, who oppose female education and thus are trying to intimidate the children and their parents.
Similar attacks on schools guerrillas carried out repeatedly. Earlier, on May 12 reported that in the northern Afghan province of Kunduz Taliban poisonedpoison gas several dozen girls.

In 1996-2001, in Afghanistan during the Taliban rule were not allowed any women's education. In recent years there have been few attacks on schools for girls, even in those parts of the country, where Taliban influence is considered negligible.

However, on the southern and eastern Afghanistan where militants continue to control the movement of cities and rural areas, these schools remain closed, teachers received threats, and the girls from time to time been attacked using chemical acids.
