Obama has promised to withdraw combat of U.S. troops from Iraq this summer


President Barack Obama confirmed that fighting the American army will leave Iraq this summer.
"The U.S. are going to complete its military operation in Iraq this summer - in strict accordance with the schedule , "- said Obama on Sunday, July 4, during the festive appeal to citizens on the occasion of Independence Day .

The President also thanked the American troops, invited to his residence in Washington, for the successful performance of their tasks .

Out of all combat units of U.S. troops from Iraq by 31 August remains one of the priorities of the American administration . Commitment to this goal also confirmed on Sunday, July 4, and Vice President Joseph Biden, who is on a visit to Baghdad.

Biden spoke to American troops in one of Saddam Hussein's former residences . According to vice president , the nature of the American mission in Iraq will change , but the U.S. will continue to support Baghdad " economically , politically and socially .

Remember, Obama announced in March that the United States intends to fulfill a promise to withdraw all its troops from Iraq by the end of 2011.
